Current Music: Fukuhara Miho - Cry No More
Off to Taiwan tomorrow! Problem is: we haven't finished packing. Right now, all the clothes are just about in. However, miscellaneous stuff like books, camera, notebooks, writing materials - are not, and somehow I keep thinking we're forgetting to bring something. It's 2am and my eyes are closing but I feel like I need to say something before I go away for a whole week. Crashed the clars section chalet on their second day and it was uber fun! :D Talking to Yiwye and stuff also made me :D happy. Also, downloaded and installed The Sims 3, which has been really fun so far. :D Apart from that, though, the week has been mostly dreary. I spent most of Saturday running errands with my mum while she was pissed off and short-tempered, and Sunday morning was Christmas-y celebrations as it was the last Sunday before Christmas. But even then, I don't know, it was one of those shit I can't feel as though I belong moments again. (Purely my fault and a guilty conscience, but yes.) Been drifting out to sea again. Finished watching Shiroi Haru, which was quite a nice watch, overall. I was rushing to finish it, so I fast-forwarded through all the slow bits, but even then it was quite a nice watch. Also, got new glasses today! I'm not wearing them right now though, because when I do I feel dizzy. ._. I know I'm supposed to wear them and get used to them, but somehow it's not quite working. ): In any case, it looks like my trip will consist of a lot of busrides, which I actually like, so it's good. (: We'll be travelling along coastal routes, so hopefully we'll be able to take nice photos because I like the sea. Set up an iPod playlist especially for the busrides, as well as pumped in a few more videos so I'll be suitably prepared when my books fail me. I'm really hungry right now and it's nearly 3am. I feel completely unprepared for the trip right now, which is a bad thing, but I think it'll all work out anyway. Somehow.

Verity and Serenity. If I have twin girls (which is never going to happen, unless I marry someone who has a history of twins in his family), I will name them that. It's so cute please!! I hope rhyming doesn't become cheesy fifteen years from now though. In case why you were wondering why I posted that, I just kind of want to remember in case I ever need it when I'm older. For a boy I'm inclined towards Butler, such as Rhett Butler or Artemis Fowl's bodyguard Butler or the nice old butler from The Remains of the Day, but it's like, you know. Butler?! Besides thinking of names of future children, here's what I've been doing for the past week: 1. Mummy brought me to Orchard Central do to a facial with her because 'my face cannot look like that for the rest of my life'. Thanks, Mom. It was totally awesome, though! I love people putting things on my face, it felt so relaxing & rejuvenating. And they got rid of my blackheads! I was really happy. (: It cost more than I had expected (seriously, who would want to spend so much on their face!) But Mummy said 'inner beauty is important, but that doesn't mean people should be ugly', or something along those lines, which makes sense. I guess. That is why I'm going to let her bring me to those facials as much as she wants. ^^ 2. We went to Swensens' for ice cream! Well it's not exactly a significant event, but I haven't had ice cream of any sort for the past month considering that I spent about two weeks of my holiday freezing to death. I'd like to say it was an impulse thing, but it wasn't - my family just missed ice cream. 3. I love the library~ I found The White Tiger, which is the kind of book I want to read but I don't want to buy. And I borrowed The Romanov Prophecy, because everybuddy loves the Russian Revolution, but I realized that it was really cheesy. I'm going to buy the books I want to buy tomorrow. On a slightly related note, I WANT A BORDERS LUNCHBOX. 4. Watched a ton of CSI/ CSI: NY/ CSI: Miami. With my brother, who got pretty annoyed because I keep squealing when my favourite detective comes up on the screen. You guessed right - it's Don Flack! Actually my brother gets annoyed at me all the time, because I fangirl at every show we watch. (Drake from D&J, Justin Russo from Wizards of WP, HOUSE HOUSE HOUSE) It must suck to be a normal little boy with a crazy sister ._. 5. I watched AVATAR! Haha just kidding, I really wish I did though ): Everyone's been saying how awesome it is. If you share my sentiments about wanting to watch it can you TEXT ME PLEEZE. I also want to watch Bodyguards and Assasins - it's in Chinese and about Sun Yat-Sen. And it stars Fan Bing Bing, China's answer to the next goddess of the silver screen. I love her to bits! She's got a pretty face and a pretty voice, yayz. Enough of random linking and uninteresting things! I am now ending off with my favourite music video of the week. Enjoy.

My nose is currently so blocked yet dry that it was bleeding, a little. I am also losing my voice, oh joy, and that fact was further helped by stocktaking today that comprised of pulling out cases so covered in dust that when you moved it out, a dust cloud would envelope you. Tomorrow is band again, till about five or six, 'cos of meetings and stuff like that. Hope I don't lose my voice completely. On Thursday and Friday, and hopefully Saturday, I will head off to earn more money at my dad's office so I can buy Sims 3! :D I haven't played any computer game in just about forever. x) Currently watching Shiroi Haru, which I borrowed off my usual DVD rental place. It's quite nice to watch, though not exceptional, and Sachi (Ohashi Nozomi) is completely adorable. :D I love that she's so happy and cute, all the time! (Well I guess that is part of the job description, but still. :D) This whole drama season, the only drama I've been watching every week is Shokojo Seira. I like it quite alot, really, mainly because of Shida Mirai I guess. And perhaps, the OTP - and her adoring friend who finally got a backbone in episode, is it, 8? (: And also because A Little Princess is one of the books that speak of my childhood~~ I should really be catching up on Tokyo Dogs, Koshonin 2, Liar Game 2 - but somehow whenever I'm faced with a) Download Links, or b) Streaming Links, my will to watch goes away completely. >< Perhaps I've burned out on watching cop dramas and dramas that make me use my brain too much , 'cos that's mainly what I've been watching at least the past half a year. Going to Taiwan next week! I can't wait! :D It'll be cold-ish, but not too cold, and we're flying SQ for the first time in forever, so I'm going to fully make use of whatever inflight entertainment there is. :D Lastly, this Sunday is Christianity Revisited's last session. Hopefully whoever's reading this will want to come join me? I think it was a really good idea and premise, and I'm just kinda sad that no one I asked could really come - I'm really hoping they repeat again sometime next year so I can invite more people again. (: This Sunday it's a Christmas lunch/party kinda thing, so it should be quite good. :D Sent my iPod for repair yesterday for lines on the LCD screen, as well as some bugs with my games and battery life problems. Right now I'm shovelling stuff into my phone so as to make up for it, but I realised that my phone can't support the video resolutions of my iPod, which is very sad. ): At least the music's going in fine, though. :D Going to bed now so I can wake up tomorrow at seven, hopefully. Go sleep, she says, or you'll put on more weight again.

Current Mood: bored
Good morning starshine, the earth says hello!
I'm back, my dears. I've been back for two days, but I've also been up to my neck with (non-academic) work! AGHH, THE EMAILS!
On Sunday I read the whole of The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, which is kind of like Girl, Interrupted but more depressing. Evidently my morose moody self did not want to post then. On Monday I went for a Special Projects meeting! I think Brillia and Claire are *ultimate cuteness*, even if they're a year younger. Brillia is really a miniBrenda! (Hi flyingtortoise !) And then after that we saw wan_derlust and shayien , the former took Steph away so I went with the latter. I'M SO GLAD I SAW HER I LUFF HER TO BITS. We went to taka for awesome yoghurt, and then walked around, and then we took 171. (Shiyin to her Muay Thai lessons, me to home and aunt's birthday.) And then later I am going out for lunch with the brother, and then to the library, and to school for another meeting.
Last night after watching The Last Night of Madame Chin (I will post about this fantastic show another time), I listed the things I had to do for the remainder of the holidays, as well as special events etc. Then I realized that a) I have not started on freaking school work and b) there is no time to start on freaking school work. So there I was freaking out about freaking school work and I decided that QUE SERA SERA whatever will be will be, and even if I don't touch my work it will (hopefully) be okay.
On a side note, have not seen the nanyangkids in ages! As in, besides for CmPS. Please please are we having a Christmas party? Because my 23-30 Dec schedule is filling up like a fat kid fills up with whipped cream, and I really want to see the nanyangkids again!
Oh man what a boring post! Alright need to go now, bye friends ~

Well guys, I'm in California, Berkeley! And it is freaking cold. To me, at least. *shivers* It's strange suddenly having to bother what the weather is going to be like, when in Singapore the worst that can happen is a flood (run for high ground!), heavy rain (bring an umbrella) or really hot weather (don't go out at all). Anyway, I'm staying with my dearest sister and her room mate. :) The rest of my family is staying at a hotel nearby, which probably has nicer facilities but doesn't have my sister. *hugs* Anyway so last night, in an attempt to sleep a little later to put of jet lag, I watched the latest episode of House (go Wilson! go RSL!) and episodes 7 and 8 of Merlin :D And I woke up at 7:30 this morning realizing I had fallen on my bed last night without brushing my teeth. Just as well, since my toothpaste had leaked out and covered half the ziplock back in gooey green stuff. Had to spend half an hour this morning getting all the muck out. Either way, this is the first time I've been the first to wake up in a house, not to mention the first time I woke up at 7:30 without an alarm clock. O CRAP. Realised I forgot to charge my camera. CRAP. I wonder if the rest of my family is awake. Perhaps I should go back to bed. :)

1. Went out with hecatedarkmagic today, was lots and lots of fun! Though we ended up talking loads more than actually shopping. Managed to pick out my Mom's birthday gift (a whole month late), and she bought some books (against her mom's wishes, tsk ^^) :D Lent her my Hunger Games and Catching Fire as well, yay for more people to fangirl with! 2. Kimmy came over yesterday and we watched The History Boys~ As she so put it, "I can't believe we're meeting up to watch an NC16 movie." Well it was a lot more innocent than that. Then we watched four episodes of Blackadder Season 3, yay for Byron and Shelley's guest appearance :D 3. I GET TO SEE MY SISTER SOON~~~~~ Will be in the States (California and Arizona) from 10th to 27th December :D I feel like bringing a whole suitcase just for books :D Unfortunately it'll be really really cold. Goodbye warm tropical weather. ): 4. SMP is so dead I could hold a funeral for it and mourn it's sad demise. Life sucks. 5. 51 one pages into my NaNo novel and it isn't going the way I hoped. D: But nevertheless, I shall press on! i'm getting somewhere, I swear.
